How often will you visit my property?

Our most popular schedules are once a month and twice a month property visits. We can also provide a custom tailored property visit schedule to meet your needs.

Does my property need to be accessible year-round?

For year-round visits, your property will need to be accessible by a standard-clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle. If your property lies on unimproved and un-plowed mountain roads, we can work with you to skip the deep-winter months, or you can arrange to have the roads leading to your property plowed before each visit.

Can you visit unimproved land?

Absolutely! In fact, the founder of SnowbirdSentry created the company based on his concerns of his own tract of unimproved land in the wet mountain valley. If you have purchased a mountain property that you currently visit only a few times a year, it can be great comfort to know that someone is keeping an eye on the property when you cannot.

I don’t want you to have access to the inside of my home, can I still use your services?

Yes! If you have a home and do not wish the SnowBird Sentry to have keys or access codes, we will perform an external walkaround of your home and property.

What, exactly, do you do when visiting our property?

Our sentries use smartphones to capture date/time and GPS coordinates during their visits - giving you comfort that we are spending the time and attention needed on your property. After a visit, these pictures are sent to you.

Although we are happy to accommodate your specific requests, a typical SnowbirdSentry visit is as follows:

  • Sentry Arrives on-site and takes an “entrance picture” to your property
  • Sentry performs a walkaround inspection of the exterior of the property
  • Sentry takes a “selfie” when opening the front door.
  • Sentry proceeds with the in-house portion of the visit
  • Use our Request a Quote feature to see our entire on-site checklist.

What if I want to cancel our service?

Canceling is easy: Simply call or email SnowBird Sentry at least 15 days before your next visit. We will cancel your service, and refund the remainder of your contract within 15 days.
